Who will you Hike, Bike and Raise in Memory of?
All of us at Hospice PEI know things are a little unsettled right now and still much is unknown. As the weather gets nicer and restrictions are eased, we all want to get out of our homes while still being safe and practicing social distancing. The reality is that the individuals, families and loved ones on Prince Edward Island are still relying on Hospice PEI and our services. Islanders still need us, and we can still support them.
Your support is required now more than ever as we continue to be here for you and all PEI families. So, let’s get outside and get active while remembering those we have lost.
Join us for a Hike or a Bike between May 22 and June 14
The Hike + Bike for Hospice PEI is our main fundraising event every spring, and this year our goal was $25,000. We depend on revenue generated from such an event to help fund our essential services during and after the end-of-life journey.
You and your families health are of the most important to us. That is why we are changing this year’s Hike to a to a virtual Hike + Bike that can be done on your own time and in your own area. This will allow us to keep you, our volunteers, and our staff safe.
Share your online fundraising page with friends and family. Join together virtually for a 5km walk. Go to a nearby park, walk in your community, or even in your home on a treadmill. Walk your dog! Challenge others! Grab your family and don’t forget to take your picture.
