Our Services

Bedside Services

More Islanders will need support through their end-of-life journey. Trained Hospice PEI volunteers can provide that support in the home, palliative care units, long-term care facilities, and hospitals.

Hospice PEI services are offered to anyone living with a life-limiting or palliative diagnosis. Referrals can be made by the client themselves, doctors, nurses, family members, or friends.

We carefully match our volunteers with individual's and family's requests based on their needs and our resources.

Volunteer support services include: listening and conversing, reading, comforting, meditation, walking, providing respite care for caregivers, music care, Therapeutic Touch, and transportation to appointments.

Hospice PEI volunteer services are provided free of charge.

Grief Support Services

After a loved ones passing, family, friends, and caregivers may need or want additional support during their time of grieving.

Hospice PEI's grief support services are available for anyone who has suffered a loss, regardless of any previous involvement with hospice or palliative care.

Our grief support is offered in many ways. It may be phone calls, support groups, lending library of resources - whatever feels right for you.

All grief support services are free and open to the public.

Both drop in and closed groups are offered throughout the year.
